It’s not surprising that designer Eviana Hartman, a noted fashion writer who is the force behind Bodkin, is also a trained dancer. The pieces in the New York City produced Bodkin lines have a certain flow that could only be created by someone who understands and embraces the beauty of movement. Hartman uses organic cotton, organic wool, artisanal vegetable dyes and an array of fibers – such as recycled PET-nylon and kapok – to create lines that are both stylish and wearable. The Twist T dress is just as it sounds – a dress modeled after a long, much loved T from your past.  The mini, sleeveless Dharma dress with a loose-fitting caplet top proves casual can be stylish. A mesh dress made entirely of plastic has to be a dancer’s dream. Let’s face it – Hartman leads the way in eco-friendly fashion that is also stylish and flirty.
