Jimmy Tamborello, electronic music’s crossover darling, has remastered and reissued his first Dntel recordings, packaging them with unreleased tracks from 1998-2003, the period that he made his breakthrough with Life Is Full of Possibilities. Fans of Tamborello’s discography, either as Dntel or in Figurine or Postal Service, will appreciate this missing link between his early instrumental work inspired by electronica pioneer Aphex Twin et al. and his later downhearted arrangements for his vocal-focused emo-pop collaborations.
