Talk about getting a foot in the door.
Dr. Martens, the trés-cool company that produces everybody’s favorite boots, is having a contest. The company expects 24,000 entrants from more than 14 countries to put their creative talents to use designing the next hot Doc look.
Creators use virtual tools such as online paintbrushes or lighters to create 8- or 14-hole boots. Two designs will be selected—one through peer-to-peer voting, another through an eclectic panel of judges—and will be produced and sold by the company.
This is just one of many ways that Dr. Martens plans to give back to the community of Doc enthusiasts.
